HCG Diet Salad Recipes & Menu Ideas

People always ask me if you are allowed to mix you vegetables due to Dr Simeons original protocol that calls for 1 vegetable. People mix their vegetables all the time on this diet it has no negative impact on daily results what so ever! Portion content is very hard to come by for vegetables in this diet and is one of my most common questions from clients. Although we do provide portion control containers on the site to help get a more accurate measurement, 2 cups is a pretty well estimated amount for a salad. Just think of a side salad something that will fit in a small cereal bowl.

Tips for making salads for the HCG Diet

No oils are allowed in phase 2 of the diet

Stay away from pre-made store bough dressing most are
loaded with sugar!!

Most sodium based powder seasonings will be fine for all phases of this diet just be sure to always check the sugar content.

When packing your lunch, store dressing in separate container, mixing at an earlier time can often leave vegetables soggy when sitting for a while.
