Apple Pie wtih Caramel

  • 1 apple
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 packet powdered stevia
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • English toffee stevia

Cut apple into small/thin slices.
Combine ground cinnamon, nutmeg, stevia into a small mixing bowl and mix well.
Using a small baking dish, layer apple slices and sprinkle with seasoning mixture.
Do this on each layer.
Top with sprinkle with English toffee steavia.
Pour/spary vinegar, water and lemon juice over apples.
Bake entire mixture for 25 minutes at 350. Check doneness.
May bake anouther 5 minutes if desired.
Apples should be lightly crispy when done.
Top with additional English toffee steavia if desired. Best if served warm.

Makes 1 serving

Phase 3 modifications: Top with a tablespoon of pecans and add a tablespoon of butter.
